I have been a RN for 8 years with over 20 years total in the medical field. I started my career as a combat medic serving 6 years Iowa Army National Guard. I had one combat deployment to Afghanistan in 2011. I have experience in oncology, women’s health/pre and post natal care, orthopedics, family practice and emergency medicine. Most recently, I worked for five years, serving veterans, as an RN care manager and certified in battlefield acupuncture at the primary care clinic at the Des Moines VA.
